Forum

The Forum activity module is an area for having course-related discussions with the instructor and other students in the course. It is similar to the Chat module, except Forum discussions do not require all participants to be present at the same time--everyone can post their thoughts when it is convenient for them. Additionally, a Forum is more suitable for holding multiple discussions. Keep in mind that the instructor acts as a moderator for discussion, and can remove any content that is not deemed constructive or appropriate for the discussions.
