Scheduled Maintenance
Occasionally ITS will upgrade software, add new software or add patches to the PolyLearn system. When performing these tasks the PolyLearn server can be down or need to be rebooted. If we are scheduled to perform one of these tasks, it will be listed in a table below.

Sunday mornings from 6 AM -12 PM, Cal Poly occasionally performs maintenance on their computer systems in Building 14. Since PolyLearn is housed in Building 14, it may also be unavailable during this time. If you try to access PolyLearn and you are not sure if maintenance is being performed, call the Cal Poly ITS Service Desk (756-7000) to confirm.
Each quarter the past courses, which are more than five quarters old, will be deleted from PolyLearn on the last day of the third week. Course content can be copied to current courses via the Backup tool and saved on your desktop.
